In adults, reading has been shown to reduce stress by 68% more than listening to music, going for a walk or having a cup of tea. Join us for an hour of quiet reading of a book of your choice, and afterwards enjoy a free cup of tea or coffee and light refreshments, and a casual chat about authors, our favourite reads, what’s new in the library collection, and more!
